A few weeks ago, we posted an article discussing the effect of the data block size employed by different telcos. The larger the block size, the larger the discrepency in the recorded usage on phone and on app. This is especially in the case of small byte size data like WhatsApp is being used. e.g. you send a message “Hello” will be counted as 1 MB instead of 1 KB or 10 KB.
