AMD announces the availability date of two additional models of the 2nd Generation AMD Ryzen Threadripper family, the 2970WX and 2920X processors. These two models will be available for purchase worldwide on October 29th, 2018 from global retailers, building on the excitement and momentum of the 2nd Gen Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX and 2950X launched in August.
The Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX, with 24 cores and 48 threads, meets the demands of creators and innovators for the most intense workloads, while the Ryzen Threadripper 2920X delivers astounding processing power for enthusiasts and gamers with 12 cores and 24 threads.
