The Google Nexus 7 runs pretty smooth and the experience is comparable to the new iPad. We ran a benchmark on it and see how it fares against some mobile devices.

Quadrant Benchmark results

The tablet scored 3708 which is faster than popular devices out there in the market. Anyway, benchmarks do give an impression of how the performance of the device, more importantly is the user experience.

  1. This is the best Android tablet you can buy at any price. When you factor in the low price, it’s probably the best tablet for the money you’ll find as well. If you can live in the cloud, and Google Play has enough of the content you’re looking for, go buy one. And if you have decided to become a proud owner of this device, perhaps you’re in the market for a solid and beautiful protection case as well.

  2. I am a user of google nexus 7 and I can say that I’m not so happy finding out several problems on its functionality. Sometimes cannot charge if the battery is totally uncharged. Microphone sometimes doesn’t work. After installing 4.2 android many times reboot without reason. These are some of the issues that I think is very important to asus or google to resolve.
