On 7 Jul 2019, AMD 3rd generation processors will be on the shelves. There will be 5 desktop processor models : Ryzen 5 3600, Ryzen 5 3600X, Ryzen 7 3700X, Ryzen 7 3800X and Ryzen 9 3900X.
According to AMD document, all 5 processors will have a total of 40 lanes (from chipset+processor). They will be priced in the range of $199 to $499 USD.
The Ryzen 9 3900X being the highest in the Desktop class processor will feature 12 core 24 threads and has a base clock of 3.8 GHz and 4.6 GHz for Boost. It’s TDP is 105W, so get ready a good water cooling system is a better option. We anticipate the overclocking of all this series of processor to reach about 4.8 GHz on Air cool heatsink.
