HBO GO will be available on Toggle from tomorrow (Feb 14) onwards.
Yes, that means you will be able to catch up on shows in our rich catalogue of local content from Channel 8 or Channel 5, before moving on to the newest season of Game of Thrones (which premieres in April) or cinematic blockbusters like Justice League, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and A Quiet Place.
And the best part? It’ll cost you as little as S$10 a month.
This rate, however, only applies for those who subscribe to the annual plan, which carries an upfront prepayment of S$119.98 for a 12-month contract. The contract-free monthly subscription sets you back S$13.98 a month.
Each subscription allows access to the entire range of programmes from HBO GO’s six streaming channels, which includes Hollywood and Asian productions, and of course, HBO’s award-winning originals. All that… for around the price of one movie ticket. Not bad, right?
HBO Go via Toggle app is available on all platforms including PC, Apple TV, Smart TVs. You’ll be able to view it on your regular web browser as well.
“Mediacorp’s partnership with HBO Asia caters to the multi-screen consumption habits of our audience,” said Mediacorp CEO Tham Loke Kheng in a statement. “Introducing HBO GO on Mediacorp’s digital entertainment platform Toggle allows us to deliver even more compelling content to our customers on their favourite digital devices minus the need for set-top boxes and manual installation, in a friendly environment that will be familiar to our users.”
Echoes Jonathan Spink, CEO of HBO Asia, “We are excited to be working with Mediacorp and Toggle to expand the reach of our online streaming service, HBO GO, in Singapore.”
